OK! We're in business. The board arrived this morning, wrapped in a very conspicuous package. However, due to the amount of tape that Mr Yowell (The owner of Kracked Skulls) decided to apply to the packaging, it took a good three minutes to get the board completely unwrapped.
It's a beaut. 40 inches long, just bare wood at the moment; there are a few dents on the side of the board from shipping but otherwise it's in great shape and I really don't give a rip about some tiny dents. The hardware it came with was as follows: Deck: 40-inch Kracked Skulls M-1, with through-the-top truck mounts. Trucks: Randall II 180's. Wheels: Abec 11 78a durometer 70's Flashbacks in Bright Green color. Bearings: Economy 608 Abec 5 green. Pictures can be seen here.
I've tried standing on it and rolling back and forth across my living room- I've determined that I at least am more comfortable pushing mongo (with the front foot instead of the back) and possibly even riding goofy (right foot forward). Next up: Graphic application and maybe griptape.
